Artificial bank landscape - event idea...

...to activate the bank area (an extension of the Blue Husky installation clip below), "WasteLandscape" = an artificial landscape covered by recycled CDs, which have been sorted and hand-sewn...
How it was made: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rkVh4dftFFw&feature=related

Possible event idea: a similar artificial landscape could be rolled down from the folly, drape over the top of the domes on one side and extend down the bank. It could be fixed mid way up the container to create more height and allow the wind to potentially move underneath. The CD 'fabric' looks flexible enough for movement - but would need to test -  things could be rolled underneath between it and the bank to create movement (eg. large medicine balls/swiss balls).

Cost: potentially very low, free (?) materials, additional materials = wire to connect the CDs
Durability: high, resistant to mud/can easily be cleaned
Time to make: depends on access to CDs, but simple to make, everyone could make a peice

Impact - visual: potentially high, will create interesting reflections
Impact - movement: average, movement could be created passively (wind), or actively (eg. roll balls under the artificial fabric)
Impact - sound: minimal, no sound actually associated with the structure
Impact - touch: not really
